A farm in Australia is growing what appears to be the hottest chillies peppers in the world. Chili potency is measured on the Scoville scale. A jalapeno pepper, contains about 5,000 Scoville heat units – the "Trinidad Scorpion Butch T" clocks in at a whopping 1.46 million units. Make no mistake, this is a vegetable that should be labeled a lethal weapon.
Asked for advice on how to use the chillies, grower Marcel de Wit advised,''Very sparingly.''
