Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's car –– an old 1977 Peugeot 504 –– was up for auction on the internet. According to the site, proceeds will go to the construction of homes for the disabled in Tehran (or perhaps a nuke or two!) Bidding has just closed, so if you did not place a bid to own this gem it's too late! The winner will be announced soon.
They have posted this message, "We would like to inform you that the time to participate in the auction of Dr. Mahmood Ahmadinejad's car is over and soon State Welfare Organization will announce the relevant information about holding the auctions".
I'm betting on Moamer Kadhafi as the winning bidder. He'll be needing a get-away car soon.
