Judge lends gangster his tie in court

Accused gangster "Vinny Gorgeous" was caught without a necktie at a recent court appearance in New York City. No problem – judge to the rescue. Presiding judge Nicholas Garaufis lent him his tie after he had been refused one by his jailers.

Vinny – Vincent Basciano – is charged with murder and racketeering for the Bonanno crime family. The judge, apparently, suggested Vinny hold onto the tie until the end of the trial. Fogetaboutit!
