Photo: Giant Sponge Attack – Saturn moon closeup looks like giant sponge

This breathtaking image of Hyperion, one of Saturn's 62 moons has the appearence of a giant sponge. It was taken by Nasa's Cassini probe. So what lies at the bottom of these strange craters?
